Hand printed photograph

I received a hand-printed photograph of my JE bebe ballet class today. I was very touched by the kind gesture of the mummy as she presented the photo (she took it and printed - not using a printer - it herself) with such sincerity. I thought the photo was so well taken as it captured the expression of the girls so well. I will keep this photo well! Thank you!

Start of break..

Today marks the start of my one-week break from teaching! Yippie I got no ballet classes except for M's class. Have 2 classes with her, one on Monday and one on tuesday. Hope to finish the whole dance by tuesday. And hope that the costume can be out by next Thursday so that M can try it on.Everything abt this special dance is SUDDEN. Sudden inspiration, sudden thought to start rehearsal earlier during the school holidays, sudden thought to enter her in the competition, immediate "YES" reply from M and Mum about entering the competition (U know, they usually consider everything for very long).I feel so wonderful about everything associated with the dance. :) Will be posting video once I finish for my baby and my darling mei mei to watch. Till then, my inspiration has to keep coming.... Wish me luck!

Thoughts of a happy bride-to-be

Think I have spent like more than 20 years competing with others: school work, school results, ballet, ballet students, students' results, career, money and a million other things. It just struck upon me one min ago, WHY AM I COMPARING & COMPETING? Think I haven't got such thoughts for ages which hugely explains why my blog is so dated. Today is such a special day! I suddenly feel I gain like so much confidence in myself.
I think the group dance tutu IS nice and I don't have to ask anyone for their opinion. I don't care about parent's opinion. I think the dance is doing fine. I think the concert costumes are fine as well, much better than previous year. :) I'm going to have a successful concert (at least my own dances). I have faith in myself and my students.
I love my wedding gown! Is totally what I want. So pretty!! haha Evening gown is still in the process of alteration and so I will pass my verdict after the 2nd fitting. But I'm sure it will turn out really fine. :)
Feel so good about myself! Yuppie.. maybe all brides to be feel the same way......
